A-Z of Publishing: L is for…

L is for Living Wage EmployerL is for Living Wage Employer. We are proud to be an accredited Living Wage Employer. This means that everyone, those of us employed directly by the company and those employed by the building in which we are based (such as cleaners and reception staff), receives a living wage salary. A living wage is an hourly rate which is calculated according to the basic cost of living in the UK and is notably higher than the national minimum wage set by the government. Being a Living Wage Employer is just one way in which we consider ourselves to be an ethical and considerate company.
This post is part of our ‘A-Z of Publishing’ series which we will be posting every Monday throughout the rest of 2015. You can search the blog for the rest of the series or subscribe to the blog to receive an email as soon as the next post is published by using the links on the right of the page.

  1. If your post were on Facebook, I would “like” it! Seriously, this is a very good thing your company is doing.
